Sisingamangaraja XII International Airport, situated in Siborong-Borong,
North Tapanuli, North Sumatra, Indonesia, serves as the main gateway to Lake

Terminal Facilities
The airport boasts a modern terminal, inaugurated on 15 September 2017,
providing enhanced comfort and convenience for passengers. With a capacity for
over half a million passengers per year, the terminal features amenities such as
shops, food courts, an executive break room, internet facilities, disabled
toilets, a prayer room, a smoking room, and a mother and child room.
Managed by UPT Ditjen Hubud, an agency under the Ministry of Transportation,
Indonesia.
Public Transportation
Outside the arrival hall, various taxi services, minivan taxis, and car rental
options are available.
The newly expanded car parking facilities can accommodate 100 cars and 50
motorcycles, conveniently located within walking distance outside the terminal.
Technical Specification
Situated at an elevation of 1,420 meters (4,660 feet) above sea level, the
airport features one runway designated 09/27, with an asphalt surface measuring
2,650 meters in length and 45 meters in width. This runway is capable of
handling aircraft such as the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737-800.
