Aircraft Cabin Agent

The Aircraft Cabin Agents in major airports are responsible for cleaning and
conducting security searches on designated aircraft according to company,
client, regulatory policies, specifications and standards. Some of essential
duties and responsibilities of Aircraft Cabin Agents:
• Vacuums aircraft floors, mops galleys and cleans tray tables
• Cleans aircraft lavatories and empties aircraft waste receptacles
• Stocks cabin service supplies
• Maintains cabin service supply room
Aircraft Cabin Agents may required to work in outdoor, under-wing aviation
environment. A majority of the day is spent performing outdoor work. Some of the
work day is spent in warehouse / workroom setting.
Work of Aircraft Cabin Agents is variable depending on the flight schedule,
flight delays, weather conditions and passenger volume. Shift work / non
standard shifts are common as well as weekends, holidays and nights.
In United States, an Aircraft Cabin Agents can earn an average salary on a scale
from approximately US$17.00 to US$22.00 on hourly basis.
