Crew Training Coordinator

The Crew Training Coordinator allocates flight crew and cabin crew training
activities within roster production deadlines and assists with training/checking
disruption recovery in the published rosters.
This position is responsible for monitoring training results and ongoing
compliance, taking action to remedy or escalate any issues as required. Key to
the role is ensuring compliance with Civil Aviation Directorate, Transport New
Zealand (TC) regulations and other requirements inclusive of company policies
and procedures.
This may involve maintenance of electronic records related to training and
checking and providing reports and training summaries. A candidate with an
understanding of crew training coordination activities and knowledge of
regulatory requirements (especially crew check and training) is desirable.
A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable for these positions.
Starting average salary of Crew Training Coordinator in United States is
approximately US$56,000. Entry level positions start at US$30,000 per annum
while Crew Training Manager can make up to US$70,000 per annum.
Overtime and shift allowances can increase income and some airlines provide
subsidised travel after a qualifying period.
