St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral
The Cathedral was completed in 1943 and was designed in a 13th century Byzantine
style. It has a yellow brick exterior with large carved wooden doors. The
interior marble was quarried in Greece and was part of the 1939 World's Fair
Greek Pavilion.

Getting There
If you are driving from Tampa, take the I-275 South towards St. Petersburg. Take
exit 30 and merge onto FL-686 West/Roosevelt Blvd. Continue straight for
approximately 8 miles and turn right onto US-19 North. Keep driving for
approximately 18 miles and take the exit toward Tarpon Ave. Turn right onto
Tarpon Ave, then left onto Ring Ave. Finally, turn left onto North Pinellas Ave,
and the cathedral will be on your right.
If you prefer to take public transportation, you can take the bus route 66 from
the Marion Transit Center in downtown Tampa. Get off at the Tarpon Ave &
Pinellas Ave stop, which is only a few minutes' walk from the cathedral.
