Silverwood Theme Park
Silverwood Theme Park is an amusement park which opened in June 20, 1988. Over
the years, Silverwood has grown in both size and popularity, transforming from a
small local amusement park to a regional theme park destination.
Silverwood is the largest theme and water park in the American Northwest on
413-acre (1,670,000 m2) and boasting more than 65 rides, slides, shows and
attractions.
In 2003, an adjacent waterpark named Boulder Beach Water Park was opened.
Entrance to Boulder Beach is included with admission to Silverwood Theme Park.
Cartoon characters Garfield and Odie are the official mascots of the park.

Getting There
Silverwood Theme Park is located in the city of Athol, Idaho, about 30 miles
north of Coeur d'Alene. The park is situated just off US-95, and there is ample
parking available for visitors.
If you are traveling by car, take exit 54 off I-90 and head north on US-95. The
park is located on the left-hand side of the road, and there are signs
indicating where to turn.
If you are coming from Coeur d'Alene, take US-95 north for about 30 miles. The
park is located on the left-hand side of the road, just before the town of
Athol.
There is no public transportation available to Silverwood Theme Park, so driving
is the most convenient option.
