Blank Park Zoo

Blank Park Zoo is a 25-acre zoological park. It is the only accredited zoo in Iowa. Once the Des Moines Children's Zoo, the facility was redeveloped by a local group who financed new geographic themed exhibits and naturally landscaped environments.

By car: Blank Park Zoo is located at 7401 SW 9th St, Des Moines, IA 50315. If you're driving from downtown Des Moines, it takes about 15 minutes to get there. There is ample parking available at the zoo.
