Charles B. Wang Center
The Charles B. Wang Center is dedicated to presenting an understanding of Asian
and Asian American cultures. The facility serves as a conference center and
cultural, professional, and intellectual event venue.
The center was completed in 2002, and was designed by P.H. Tuan.
The building covers 120,000 square feet (11,000 m2), and is noted for its
interior architecture. The building holds numerous conference halls, classrooms
(although no classes have been held in the building), auditoriums, a chapel, and
an Asian food court for students.

Getting There
The Charles B. Wang Center is located on the Stony Brook University campus in
Stony Brook, New York. The best way to get there by public transportation is to
take the Long Island Rail Road to the Stony Brook station, which is about a
15-minute walk from the center. Bus service is also available from the station
to the center. The Suffolk County Transit S60 bus stops at the Stony Brook Union
Turnpike Loop, which is located near the Wang Center.
