Belcourt Castle
Belcourt Castle is the former summer cottage of Oliver Hazard Perry Belmont. It
is the only mansion in Newport which is both open to the public and has a
private owner in residence.
The castle is alleged to be the location of numerous paranormal phenomena and
events, including moving chairs, moving armor, ghostly apparitions, a possessed
statue and various other sightings.
