A visa is not required to transit through Burkina Faso providing that they do not intend to leave the international transit area.

Transit without visa is permissible for travellers who plan to continuing their trip to a third country within next 24 hours by the same or first connecting plane provided they have tickets with confirmed reservations and all documents required for their next trip.

Travellers who wish to leave the airport may apply for a visa staying for no more than 24 hours upon arrival. However, it is strongly advised that travellers obtain a visa before arrival.
