Travellers to Algeria must obtain a visa from one of the Algerian diplomatic missions overseas unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries or eligible for visa-free entry.

The nationalities from the following 8 designated countries as well as refugees and stateless persons residing in these countries are granted to stay for the maximum of 90 days in Algeria as long as their purpose of visit is tourism or business:
