Travellers to Brunei must obtain a visa from one of the Brunei diplomatic missions overseas unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries or eligible for visa on arrival.

All visitors must hold a passport valid for 6 months.

Visa on Arrival

Nationals of the following countries and territories may obtain a visa on arrival at Brunei International Airport:

• Australia
• Bahrain
• China

• Kuwait 
• Qatar

• Saudi Arabia
• Taiwan

Entry and transit is refused to Israeli citizens. Immigration offenses, such as visa overstaying, are punishable by jail, fines and caning.
