Air Tahiti Nui » Baggage Allowance
Passengers travelling with Air Tahiti Nui receive baggage allowances based on
their purchased fare type, cabin class, and route conditions stated on the
ticket.
Carry-on Baggage
Air Tahiti Nui permits passengers to bring cabin baggage onboard according to
the following limits:
• Economy Class: 1 cabin bag up to 10 kg (22 lbs)
• Premium Economy Class: 1 cabin bag up to 10 kg (22 lbs)
• Business Class: 2 cabin bags with a combined maximum weight of 10 kg (22 lbs)
Each cabin bag must comply with the maximum dimensions of 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm,
including wheels, handles, and external pockets.
Passengers may also bring one personal item such as a handbag, laptop bag,
camera bag, or small backpack. The personal item must fit underneath the seat in
front of the passenger.
Cabin baggage exceeding the permitted weight, size, or quantity must be checked
into the aircraft hold. Additional charges may apply if the checked baggage
exceeds the included allowance.
Checked Baggage Allowance
Air Tahiti Nui applies a piece-based baggage system for international flights:
• Economy Class: 1 or 2 checked pieces depending on fare conditions, each up to
23 kg (50 lbs)
• Premium Economy Class: 2 checked pieces, each up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Business Class: 2 checked pieces, each up to 32 kg (70 lbs)
The maximum linear dimension for each checked bag is 158 cm (62 inches).
No individual checked baggage item may exceed 32 kg. Bags above this limit must
be repacked or transported as cargo according to airline requirements.
Extra Baggage
Passengers may purchase additional baggage allowance through Air Tahiti Nui
booking channels before departure. Additional charges depend on route, number of
extra pieces, weight, and fare conditions.
Special baggage, including sporting equipment, surfboards, bicycles, and musical
instruments, requires compliance with airline size restrictions and may require
advance notification before travel.
