Air Busan Lost & Found

If personal belongings are misplaced during travel with Air Busan, passengers should report the incident as soon as possible. Lost property procedures differ depending on whether the item was left onboard the aircraft, inside the airport terminal, or involves checked baggage.

Items Left on Board the Aircraft

Articles discovered inside the aircraft after arrival are collected by cabin crew during post-flight inspections and transferred to the airline or its appointed ground handling company. Recovered items are recorded before being placed into temporary storage.

Passengers who believe belongings were left onboard should contact Air Busan promptly with the flight number, travel date, seat number and a detailed description of the missing property.

Items Lost at the Airport

Personal items misplaced within airport terminals, including check-in halls, immigration areas, security checkpoints, departure lounges and boarding gates, fall under the responsibility of the airport's lost property office rather than the airline.

Each airport maintains its own procedures and storage period for unclaimed property.

Baggage-Related Lost Property

Passengers whose checked baggage is delayed, damaged or missing upon arrival must report the matter immediately at the airline's baggage service desk before leaving the baggage reclaim area.

A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) is created to begin baggage tracing through the international baggage tracking system.

Reporting a Lost Item

When submitting a report, passengers should provide identification, boarding pass, baggage claim tag and accurate descriptions of the missing item, including colour, brand, size and distinguishing features where available.

Providing photographs or purchase receipts may assist identification of valuable belongings.

Recovery and Collection

Once located, passengers are contacted using the information recorded in the report. Collection normally requires presentation of valid identification and proof of ownership.

Where available, delivery services may be arranged at the passenger's expense depending on local handling arrangements.

Passenger Advice

Important documents, medication, electronic devices, valuables and fragile items should remain inside cabin baggage throughout the journey. Passengers are encouraged to verify the contents of overhead bins and seat pockets before leaving the aircraft.
