Air Busan
Air Busan is a South Korean low-cost airline headquartered in Busan and based at
Gimhae International Airport. The airline commenced operations in October
2008 after being established as a regional carrier with support from
Asiana Airlines and local investors.
Air Busan has expanded from domestic services to an international network
covering Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia while maintaining Busan as its
primary operational hub. Additional operations are conducted from
Gimpo
International Airport and
Incheon International Airport.
The airline operates scheduled passenger services linking South Korea with
destinations in Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Mongolia, Vietnam,
the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and several other Asian markets.
Domestic flights connect Busan with Jeju Island and selected cities within
South Korea. Air Busan focuses on short- and medium-haul routes using an
all-Airbus narrow-body fleet.

Air Busan became part of the Korean Air group following the integration of
Asiana Airlines into
Korean Air. The airline continues to operate under its
own brand while network and operational integration progresses within the
group's low-cost carrier strategy.
As of mid-2026, Air Busan serves more than 30 scheduled destinations across
over 10 countries and territories, including an extensive domestic network
within South Korea. Seasonal routes are introduced during peak holiday
periods according to passenger demand and regulatory approvals.
The airline provides Economy Class services on all flights and Premium
Economy seating on selected Airbus A321 aircraft. Online booking, mobile
services, prepaid baggage, advance seat selection and ancillary travel
products are available through Air Busan's official reservation system.
