Air Busan provides travel arrangements for children travelling without a parent
or legal guardian, subject to the airline's age requirements and service
conditions.
Eligible Age
Children within the airline's accepted age range may travel as unaccompanied
minors after completing the required application procedures. Minimum and maximum
eligible ages are determined according to Air Busan's current policy and the
destination involved.
Reservation
The unaccompanied minor service must be requested before travel. Availability is
limited and confirmation is required before ticket issuance for eligible
itineraries.
Required Documentation
Parents or legal guardians must complete the required consent forms and provide
identification, contact information and details of the adults delivering and
collecting the child.
Additional travel documents, passports and visas remain the responsibility of
the accompanying adults arranging the journey.
Airport Check-in
The accompanying guardian must remain at the departure airport until the
aircraft has departed. Airline staff escort the child through departure
procedures and coordinate boarding.
During the Flight
Cabin crew monitor the child throughout the flight, provide assistance when
required and coordinate with ground personnel before arrival.
Arrival Procedures
Upon landing, authorised ground staff escort the child through arrival
formalities before releasing them only to the designated receiving adult listed
on the travel documentation.
Service Restrictions
The service may not be available on itineraries involving overnight transfers,
long connection times, certain codeshare flights or routes where operational
limitations apply.
Parents should submit requests well before departure to allow sufficient time
for verification and processing of all required travel documents.
