Passengers travelling with Eastar Jet are provided with baggage allowances based
on the purchased fare type, route conditions, and additional services selected
during booking.
Carry-on Baggage
Each passenger may bring one piece of cabin baggage onboard Eastar Jet flights.
The carry-on item must meet the airline’s size and weight restrictions and must
be stored in the overhead compartment or under the seat when permitted.
The standard cabin baggage allowance is:
• Maximum weight: 10 kg
• Maximum dimensions: 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm
• Number of pieces: 1 cabin bag
A personal item such as a small handbag, laptop bag, or similar personal
accessory may be accepted when it can be stored beneath the seat. Cabin baggage
exceeding the permitted size or weight limit must be checked into the aircraft
hold and may require additional payment.
Checked Baggage Allowance
Eastar Jet applies different checked baggage rules depending on fare category.
The standard fare system includes:
• Basic fares: Checked baggage is not included and must be purchased separately
• Fare packages with baggage allowance: Allowance varies according to route and
ticket conditions
Passengers purchasing checked baggage receive an allowance based on weight
rather than a fixed number of pieces. Additional baggage can be added before
departure through online booking management or airport counters.
Extra Baggage
Additional baggage allowance can be purchased through Eastar Jet’s website,
mobile application, or airport service counters. Advance baggage purchase
provides passengers with a confirmed allowance before arrival at the airport.
Excess baggage charges apply when baggage exceeds the purchased allowance. Fees
are calculated according to route, weight, and applicable service regulations.
Special baggage including sports equipment, oversized items, and musical
instruments may require advance registration and separate handling charges.
