of Korea. The airline was established in October 2007 and commenced commercial
operations in January 2009 with domestic flights between South Korean cities.

Incheon International Airport serves as a major hub for international
services.
Eastar Jet became part of the aviation group under the ownership of Sungjeong Group after its previous ownership transition from Eastar Holdings. The airline resumed operations in March 2023 after a period of suspension caused by financial restructuring and the COVID-19 pandemic impact. Following its restart, Eastar Jet expanded its domestic and international network with a focus on short-haul routes across Northeast and Southeast Asia.
