Air Montenegro
Air Montenegro is the national airline of Montenegro, headquartered in Podgorica,
with its primary operating base at
Podgorica Airport
and a secondary base at Tivat Airport. The airline commenced scheduled
operations on 10 June 2021 following the closure of the former national carrier,
Montenegro Airlines.
The airline operates year-round services alongside seasonal routes that support Montenegro's tourism industry, particularly during the summer travel period. Its network connects Podgorica and Tivat with important cities including Belgrade, Istanbul, Rome, Ljubljana, Paris, Zurich, Frankfurt, Prague, and several other European destinations. Seasonal services are adjusted according to passenger demand, enabling additional connections during the peak holiday season.

Air Montenegro has expanded its cooperation with several international
airlines through interline and codeshare agreements, allowing
passengers to continue their journeys beyond the airline's own
network using a single ticket and coordinated baggage handling where
available.
As of mid-2026, Air Montenegro serves more than 20 scheduled and
seasonal destinations across over 15 countries in Europe and the
surrounding region. The airline continues to review network
opportunities based on market demand, tourism growth, and bilateral
aviation agreements.
Air Montenegro operates a modern fleet consisting entirely of Embraer
regional jets, providing efficient service on short- and medium-haul routes. The
airline focuses on scheduled passenger transportation while maintaining high
operational reliability and supporting Montenegro's international tourism and
business connectivity.
