Air Montenegro offers an Unaccompanied Minor (UM) service for eligible children
travelling without a parent, legal guardian, or authorised adult. The service
provides supervision from departure until the child is handed over to the
nominated person at the destination.
Eligibility
The Unaccompanied Minor service is available for children within the age limits
specified by Air Montenegro. Age requirements, service availability, and travel
conditions depend on the route and applicable operational regulations.
Children who qualify for the service cannot travel alone unless the required
arrangements have been completed before departure.
Booking Requirements
Requests for the Unaccompanied Minor service should be made when booking the
ticket or before the scheduled departure date.
Parents or guardians must provide:
• The child's travel documents.
• Contact information for both the person delivering the child and the person
collecting the child.
• Completed Unaccompanied Minor documentation required by the airline.
Airport Procedures
The accompanying adult must remain at the departure airport until the aircraft
has departed.
Upon arrival, the nominated receiving adult must present valid identification
before the child is released by airline or ground handling staff.
During the Journey
Air Montenegro staff supervise the child throughout airport procedures,
boarding, the flight, and arrival formalities. Cabin crew monitor the child's
wellbeing during the flight and coordinate the transfer to ground staff after
landing.
Connecting Flights
Acceptance of itineraries involving connecting flights depends on the airports,
transfer arrangements, and operational requirements. Certain connections may not
be accepted under the Unaccompanied Minor programme.
Parents and guardians should confirm all service conditions with Air Montenegro
before purchasing tickets to ensure the itinerary meets the airline's
requirements for unaccompanied child travel.
