Air Europa provides an Unaccompanied Minor (UM) service for eligible children travelling without a parent or legal guardian.

Children between 5 and 11 years of age travelling alone are required to use the Unaccompanied Minor service on eligible Air Europa-operated flights.

Children aged 12 to 17 years travelling independently may request the service on an optional basis where available.

The service must be arranged before departure and is subject to operational availability. Additional service fees apply.

Parents or legal guardians must complete the required documentation, provide emergency contact information, and remain at the departure airport until the aircraft has departed.

The accompanying adult delivering the child and the authorised adult collecting the child must present valid government-issued identification.

Air Europa staff supervise the child throughout airport processing, boarding, the flight, aircraft transfer where applicable, and arrival procedures until the authorised receiving adult signs the required release documentation.

Children travelling as unaccompanied minors may only travel on eligible itineraries that comply with the airline's routing requirements. Certain connections, overnight transfers, or flights involving other airlines may not qualify for the service.

Parents should ensure the child carries all necessary travel documents, visas, medical information, prescribed medication where required, and emergency contact details before commencing the journey.

Meals, seating arrangements, and onboard assistance are coordinated by cabin crew throughout the flight, while ground personnel monitor transfers and arrival procedures to maintain continuous supervision until handover is completed.
