Air Europa
Air Europa is the flag carrier of Spain's Globalia group, with its
headquarters in Llucmajor, Mallorca. The airline commenced scheduled
operations in 1986 and has developed into one of Spain's largest full-service
airlines.
Its primary hub is Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas
Airport, where it operates an extensive network linking Europe with North
America, South America, the Caribbean, North Africa, and selected
destinations in the Middle East.
Air Europa is a member of the SkyTeam alliance, allowing passengers to
access an expanded global network through codeshare and interline agreements
with alliance partners and other affiliated airlines. The carrier has
invested in fleet modernisation by introducing Boeing 787 Dreamliner
aircraft for long-haul services and Boeing 737-800 aircraft for medium-haul
operations, improving operational efficiency and passenger comfort.

The airline offers Economy and Business Class cabins, with Business Class
available on both long-haul and selected European routes. Additional
services include onboard Wi-Fi on many aircraft, digital entertainment on
long-haul flights, advance seat selection, and optional ancillary products
through its online booking platform.
Air Europa also transports cargo through its dedicated freight division and
supports integrated travel packages via affiliated tourism businesses within
the Globalia group.
As of mid-2026, Air Europa operates scheduled passenger services to more
than 55 destinations across over 30 countries. The network covers major
cities throughout Spain, Europe, Latin America, North America, North Africa,
and the Caribbean, supported by numerous codeshare routes that significantly
expand travel options beyond its own operated destinations.
