Iberia provides a Lost & Found service to assist passengers in recovering lost
items during their journey.
Whether you have misplaced baggage, left an item on board, or lost something
within the airport, Iberia offers different ways to report and track lost
belongings.
Lost Checked Baggage
If your checked baggage does not arrive at your destination, you should
immediately report it at the Iberia Baggage Service Office before leaving the
airport.
You will receive a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) with a reference number to
track your baggage status. Iberia uses the WorldTracer system to help locate and
return lost baggage as quickly as possible.
Lost Items Onboard
If you left a personal item on an Iberia flight, you should contact the Lost &
Found office at the arrival airport. Lost items found on the aircraft are handed
over to airport authorities or the airline’s handling agent. Providing details
like flight number, seat number, and a description of the item can speed up
recovery.
Lost Items at the Airport
For items lost at an airport terminal, passengers should contact the airport’s
Lost & Found department directly. Each airport has its own procedures for
handling misplaced belongings.
Contact & Assistance
Passengers can track lost baggage online using their PIR reference or contact
Iberia’s customer service for further support. If baggage is not found within 21
days, passengers may be eligible for compensation under Iberia’s baggage policy.
It’s recommended to act quickly and contact the airline or airport Lost & Found
as soon as possible to increase the likelihood of recovering your belongings.
