Iberia
Iberia is a flag carrier airline of Spain. The company was founded in 1927 and
is based in Madrid, operating an international network of services from its main
base at Madrid–Barajas
Airport.
As of April 2025, Iberia operates scheduled flights to 40 domestic and 93 international destinations in 45 countries worldwide. Besides transporting passengers and cargo, Iberia also carries out related activities, such as aircraft maintenance, airport handling, IT systems and in-flight catering.

Iberia had signed an agreement with British Airways, to merge and establish a new merged company, International Airlines Group (IAG) in January 2011 and make the combined operation the third largest commercial airline in the world by revenue, although both airlines continue to operate under their respective brands nowadays.
