Passengers travelling with Turkmenistan Airlines are permitted to carry baggage
according to the fare purchased and cabin class shown on the ticket.
Carry-on Baggage
Economy Class passengers may bring one cabin bag weighing up to 8 kg. The cabin
baggage must fit within the airline's approved size limitations and be stored
either in the overhead compartment or underneath the seat in front.
Business Class passengers may carry two cabin bags within the approved weight
and size restrictions specified by the airline.
One personal item, including a handbag, laptop bag, camera case, or small
backpack, may also accompany the passenger provided it can be safely placed
beneath the seat.
Liquids, gels, batteries, and prohibited articles remain subject to security
regulations at the departure airport. Oversized or overweight cabin baggage may
be transferred to the aircraft hold before boarding.
Checked Baggage Allowance
Checked baggage entitlement depends on the travel class shown on the ticket.
• Economy Class: up to 20 kg
• Business Class: up to 40 kg
Individual baggage dimensions must comply with the airline's acceptance
standards. Items exceeding permitted weight or size limitations may require
repacking before acceptance.
Passengers travelling on promotional fares, charter flights, or special
agreements should verify the baggage allowance printed on their itinerary, as
allowances may differ between fare products.
Extra Baggage
Additional baggage exceeding the free allowance is accepted subject to available
aircraft capacity and payment of applicable excess baggage charges.
Passengers carrying sports equipment, musical instruments, fragile items, or
oversized luggage should notify the airline before departure to ensure handling
arrangements can be made.
Certain dangerous goods, lithium batteries, hazardous materials, and restricted
articles are prohibited or accepted only under international aviation safety
regulations. Passengers should review applicable restrictions before arriving at
the airport to avoid delays during baggage acceptance.
