Turkmenistan Airlines Cancellation and Refund

Turkmenistan Airlines permits ticket cancellations and refunds according to the fare conditions, route, and ticket type purchased. Eligibility is determined by the fare rules attached to the ticket at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

Voluntary Cancellation

Passengers who decide not to travel may cancel their reservation before the scheduled departure. Cancellation charges, if applicable, are calculated according to the fare conditions and the portion of the journey already used.

Refundable Tickets

Tickets issued under refundable fare categories may qualify for either a full or partial refund after applicable service fees, cancellation charges, or fare differences have been deducted.

Non-Refundable Tickets

Promotional and heavily discounted fares may not permit voluntary refunds after ticket issuance. In some cases, unused airport taxes and government-imposed charges may remain refundable where permitted by local regulations.

Flight Disruptions

If Turkmenistan Airlines cancels a flight, significantly changes the schedule, or is unable to transport a passenger due to operational reasons, eligible travellers may receive rebooking, travel credit, or a refund in accordance with the airline's Conditions of Carriage and applicable aviation regulations.

Ticket Changes

Date changes, flight changes, and itinerary modifications are accepted for eligible fare categories. Additional fare collection and change fees may apply if the new itinerary is more expensive than the original booking.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are returned using the original payment method whenever possible. Processing time depends on payment providers, banking institutions, and the method used during ticket purchase.

Unused Optional Services

Refunds for prepaid optional services, including additional baggage or seat selection, are assessed individually according to the service purchased and the reason for cancellation.

Passengers should retain all ticket receipts, booking confirmations, and supporting documents until the refund process has been completed..
