Alaska Airlines
Alaska Airlines is an American airline headquartered (HQ) in the Seattle
metropolitan area of the state of Washington. The company was founded in 1932 as
McGee Airways, offering flights from Anchorage, Alaska.
The airline is a major air carrier and along with its sister airlines
Horizon Air and
Virgin America, is part of the Alaska Air Group.
The Alaska
Air Group acquired Virgin America in April 2016 and continued to operate
Virgin America under its own name and brand until airline was fully merged
into Alaska Airlines on April 24, 2018.
Owned and operates by Alaska Airlines, there are currently 6 Alaska Lounge located on the US West Coast, including 3 in its primary hub, SEA, and 1 on the East Coast. Also, with Alaska Lounge membership, you’ll have access to more than 95 partner lounges around the world.
