Frans Xavier Seda Airport (Indonesian: Bandar Udara Frans Xavier Seda) (IATA:
MOF, ICAO: WATC, formerly WRKC), also known as Wai Oti Airport or Maumere
Airport, serves Maumere, the capital of Sikka Regency and the largest town on
Flores island, in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Maumere is renowned for its
reefs in the Gulf of Maumere, which were once regarded as premier diving spots
globally.
The airport is now equipped with runway lights and a Precision Approach Path
Indicator (PAPI), facilitating night-time takeoffs and landings.
Terminal Facilities
The airport has undergone renovations to accommodate more passengers. It now
features an apron measuring 200 meters in length and 120 meters in width. The
terminal itself covers an area of 3,000 square meters. Managed by UPT Ditjen
Hubud, an agency under the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation, the airport
offers all essential amenities for passenger convenience.

Bus: There are no airport bus services from Frans Xavier Seda Airport.

numerous providers outside the arrival hall, with negotiable fares.
Technical Specifications
The airport is situated at an elevation of 115 feet (35 meters) above mean sea
level. It has a single runway, designated 05/23, with an asphalt surface
measuring 2,250 by 45 meters (7,382 by 148 feet). The expanded and widened
runway now accommodates narrow-body aircraft such as the Boeing 737 and Airbus
A320, with plans for further extension to 2,500 meters. Additionally, the
taxiway has been enlarged to an area of 77 by 36 meters.
