Getting There

The Oregon Zoo is located in Portland, Oregon, and can be reached by public transportation. TriMet, the public transportation system in the Portland metropolitan area, operates several bus lines and a light rail system, known as MAX, that serve the zoo.

To reach the Oregon Zoo by MAX, visitors can take the Blue or Red line to the Washington Park MAX Station. From there, they can transfer to the Washington Park shuttle bus, which provides service to several attractions in the park, including the zoo.

Alternatively, visitors can take TriMet bus lines 63 or 83 to the zoo. Both of these lines stop at the zoo's main entrance.

It's worth noting that the zoo is located on a hill, and visitors will need to walk uphill to reach the entrance from the MAX station or bus stops.
