Portland International Airport

Portland International Airport (IATA: PDX, ICAO: KPDX, FAA LID: PDX) is a joint civil-military airport and the largest airport in the U.S. state of Oregon, accounting for 90 percent of passenger travel and more than 95 percent of air cargo of the state. It is located within Portland's city limits just south of the Columbia River in Multnomah County, 6 miles (10 kilometers) by air and 12 mi (19 km) by highway northeast of downtown Portland.

The airport serves as a hub for Alaska Airlines and a focus city for Delta Air Lines. PDX has one main terminal with five concourses, and offers a variety of services and amenities including restaurants, shops, lounges, free Wi-Fi, and art exhibits.

Several transportation options are available to get to and from PDX, including taxis, rental cars, ride-share services, and public transportation. The MAX light rail system connects the airport to downtown Portland and other surrounding areas. PDX also offers on-site parking in both short-term and long-term lots, as well as valet parking and off-site parking options.

In addition to Alaska Airlines and Delta Air Lines, other airlines that serve PDX include American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and many others. The airport offers both domestic and international flights, with nonstop service to many major cities in the United States, as well as international destinations in Canada, Mexico, and Europe.
