Portland International Airport
Portland International Airport (IATA: PDX, ICAO: KPDX, FAA LID: PDX) is a joint
civil-military airport and the largest airport in the U.S. state of Oregon,
accounting for 90 percent of passenger travel and more than 95 percent of air
cargo of the state. It is located within Portland's city limits just south of
the Columbia River in Multnomah County, 6 miles (10 kilometers) by air and 12 mi
(19 km) by highway northeast of downtown Portland.
The airport serves as a hub for

Airlines and a focus city for
Delta
Air Lines. PDX has one main terminal with five concourses, and offers a
variety of services and amenities including restaurants, shops, lounges, free
Wi-Fi, and art exhibits.
Several transportation options are available to get to and from PDX, including
taxis, rental cars, ride-share services, and public transportation. The MAX
light rail system connects the airport to downtown Portland and other
surrounding areas. PDX also offers on-site parking in both short-term and
long-term lots, as well as valet parking and off-site parking options.
In addition to Alaska Airlines and Delta Air Lines, other airlines that serve
PDX include American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and many
others. The airport offers both domestic and international flights, with nonstop
service to many major cities in the United States, as well as international
destinations in Canada, Mexico, and Europe.
