Founded in 1937, Air Canada is the flag carrier and largest airline of Canada.
As of December 2024, Air Canada provides scheduled and charter air transport for
passengers and cargo to 222 destinations worldwide. It is a founding member of
the
Star Alliance.
Air Canada's corporate headquarters (HQ) are located in Montréal, Quebec,
while its largest hub is at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The
airline's regional service is Air Canada Express.
The carrier's operating divisions include Air Canada Cargo,
Air Canada
Express, Air Canada Jetz and
Air Canada Rouge. Their subsidiary, Air Canada
Vacations, provides vacation packages to over 90 destinations. Together with
their regional partners, the airline operates on average more than 1,530
scheduled flights daily.
Their corporate headquarters is Air Canada Centre (French: Centre Air Canada), also known as La Rondelle ("The Puck" in French), a 7 storey building located on the grounds of Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport in Saint-Laurent.
