Tirana International Airport

Tirana International Airport (TIA), also known as Nënë Tereza Airport or Rinas
Airport, is Albania's main international gateway, located about 17 kilometers
northwest of Tirana’s city center. It is the busiest airport in Albania,
handling both domestic and international flights primarily within Europe.
TIA is a hub for Air
Albania and is serviced by various international airlines, including
Wizz Air,
Lufthansa,
Austrian Airlines,
Turkish Airlines,
and British Airways,
connecting Tirana to major cities like London, Istanbul, Rome, and Vienna.
The airport offers a range of passenger facilities to enhance traveler comfort.
There are numerous duty-free shops, restaurants, and cafés available in both the
departure and arrival areas. Other services include currency exchange, ATMs,
luggage storage, VIP lounges, and Wi-Fi access throughout the terminal. Business
travelers can access meeting rooms and VIP facilities, and there are car rental
counters for added convenience.
For transportation, TIA is well-connected to Tirana and nearby areas. Buses run
frequently between the airport and Tirana’s city center, taking about 30
