Houari Boumediene Airport (ALG), also known as Algiers International Airport, is
Algeria’s main airport and is located about 17 kilometers southeast of Algiers.
Serving as the country's busiest airport, it operates as the primary hub for
Air Algérie and
Tassili Airlines.
The airport handles both domestic and international flights, connecting Algeria
to Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America.
The airport features two terminals: Terminal 1 for international flights and
Terminal 2 for domestic flights. Facilities include duty-free shops,
restaurants, cafés, currency exchange, car rental services, VIP lounges, and
free Wi-Fi in select areas. Additional amenities include ATMs, prayer rooms, and
dedicated areas for passengers with reduced mobility.
