Erebuni Airport

Erebuni Airport
Erebuni Airport

Erebuni Airport (Yerevan, Armenia) is a military and civilian airport located about 7 km south of the capital, Yerevan. Primarily serving as a military base, it also accommodates limited civil aviation activities, especially for chartered and small private flights. It was originally Yerevan’s main airport before Zvartnots International Airport took over most commercial flights.

Facilities at Erebuni are relatively basic compared to larger international airports. It has a small terminal for civil aviation, but passenger services are minimal due to its primary military function. There are no extensive shopping or dining options available, and passenger amenities are quite limited.

As of now, airlines do not offer regular scheduled commercial services from Erebuni, as most international flights operate out of Zvartnots Airport. However, the airport is used for private, chartered, and military flights.

In terms of public transportation, the airport is accessible by road, and taxis are the most common mode of transport to and from Yerevan. There is no direct public bus or train service connecting Erebuni Airport to the city, so passengers typically rely on private transport options or pre-arranged pickups for travel.
