Kampong Cham Airport

Kampong Cham Airport is a small airport located near the city of Kampong Cham in
central Cambodia. The airport is not currently in operation for commercial
passenger services. It was historically used for regional flights, but like many
smaller airports in Cambodia, it has seen a significant reduction in activity
and is primarily non-operational.
Facilities
Kampong Cham Airport has very basic facilities due to its limited and
non-operational status. The infrastructure includes a small terminal building,
but there are no services such as restaurants, shops, or lounges. The airport is
largely unused and does not cater to regular passenger traffic.
Airlines
There are no commercial airlines operating at Kampong Cham Airport. The airport
does not host any scheduled flights and is not used for regular commercial
aviation purposes.
Public Transportation
Transportation Options: Since the airport is not in use for commercial flights,
there are no dedicated public transportation services like taxis or buses to or
from the airport. Travelers typically do not use this airport, opting instead
for ground transportation from Phnom Penh or other nearby cities.
Additional Information
Kampong Cham is one of Cambodia’s larger provinces, known for its agriculture
and proximity to the Mekong River. However, due to the lack of commercial
aviation services, visitors typically travel by road from Phnom Penh or other
accessible locations. The airport remains a largely dormant facility with no
plans for commercial operation in the near future.
