Augsburg Airport

Augsburg Airport (IATA: AGB, ICAO: EDMA) is a regional airport in Affing, 7 km northeast of the city of Augsburg, the third largest city in the German state of Bavaria. It is used for business and general aviation with very little passenger airline traffic.

The airport resides at an elevation of 1,515 ft (462 m) above mean sea level. It has a runway designated 07/25 with asphalt surface measuring 5,230 ft (1,594 m) in length.

As of July 2024,  it primarily serves general aviation and does not currently have scheduled commercial airline services. The airport is used for private flights, flight training, and other general aviation activities. It has facilities for small aircraft and provides services such as fueling, maintenance, and hangar space.

Augsburg Airport was previously served by commercial airlines, but regular passenger services have ceased, and the focus has shifted to general aviation.

A ground transport connection by road exists to the nearby six-lane motorway A8 Munich (25 min) - Stuttgart (1h) (Exit Augsburg Ost). Alternatively, bus 305 runs every hour from Augsburg main train station.
