Hannover Airport

Hannover Airport (IATA: HAJ) is an international airport located in Langenhagen,
near Hanover, Germany. It was opened in 1952 and is currently the ninth largest
airport in Germany. The airport is a key hub for both passenger and cargo
flights, serving around 6 million passengers annually. Hannover Airport operates
flights to numerous European destinations, along with some long-haul routes,
making it an important node in the region’s transportation network.
The airport features three passenger terminals (A, B, and C), with modern
amenities to ensure a comfortable travel experience. Terminal C is particularly
noteworthy as it handles charter and holiday flights, while Terminals A and B
cater to scheduled and low-cost carriers. Hannover Airport also boasts extensive
cargo facilities, making it a significant logistics center.
