Osh Airport

Osh Airport (OSS) is located about 9 km northeast of Osh, the second-largest
city in Kyrgyzstan. Serving as a key hub for domestic and regional travel, the
airport plays an important role in connecting the southern part of Kyrgyzstan
with major cities and international destinations. Osh is a cultural and economic
center in the Fergana Valley, and the airport supports both local and
international travelers.
The facilities at Osh Airport are relatively small but functional, providing
essential services such as check-in counters, customs, and baggage handling. The
terminal offers basic amenities, including a few cafes, a small duty-free shop,
and a VIP lounge. Free Wi-Fi is available, and passengers can access ATMs for
cash withdrawals. Car rental services are limited but taxis are readily
available outside the terminal.
Several airlines operate from Osh Airport, including Air Manas, Avia Traffic
Company, S7 Airlines,
and Turkish Airlines.
The airport mainly connects Osh to domestic destinations like Bishkek, and also
offers international flights to cities such as Moscow, Istanbul, and
Novosibirsk.
Public transportation to and from the airport is primarily provided by taxis,
which are the most convenient option for reaching the city center, about a
20-minute drive away. There are no direct public buses, but some hotels and
private shuttle services arrange transfers for their guests. Osh Airport serves
as a key gateway for both business and leisure travelers in southern Kyrgyzstan,
offering connections to regional and international destinations.
