Pokhara Airport

Pokhara Airport, located in the popular tourist city of Pokhara, Nepal, is a
domestic airport serving as a gateway to the Annapurna region and other
trekking destinations. Recently, the city opened a new international
airport, Pokhara International Airport, located close to the original
domestic facility.
Facilities at Pokhara Airport include a small terminal with basic services
such as check-in counters, a waiting area, and a few shops and cafes. It’s
designed for quick and efficient passenger handling, catering mostly to
domestic travelers and tourists headed for trekking and adventure
activities.
Airlines operating from Pokhara Airport include
Buddha Air,
Yeti Airlines,
and Shree Airlines.
These airlines provide frequent flights to Kathmandu and other domestic
destinations, making it a crucial hub for both locals and tourists.
Public transportation options include taxis readily available outside the
terminal. There are also buses and private vehicle hire options for
travelers heading to the city center, which is about 2 kilometers from the
airport, making it easily accessible. The new international airport, once
fully operational, will further enhance connectivity to international
destinations.
