Pittsburgh International Airport

Pittsburgh International Airport (IATA: PIT, ICAO: KPIT, FAA LID: PIT), formerly
Greater Pittsburgh International Airport, is a civil–military international
airport in the suburbs of the United States' city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
It is located in Findlay and Moon townships of Allegheny County, about 20 miles
(30 km) west of downtown Pittsburgh.
The airport has two main passenger terminals, the Landside Terminal and the
Airside Terminal, which are connected by an underground people mover. The
Landside Terminal contains the ticketing and baggage claim areas, as well as
ground transportation options such as rental cars and taxis. The Airside
Terminal contains the concourses with the boarding gates, as well as
restaurants, shops, and other services for passengers.
Pittsburgh International Airport is served by a variety of airlines, including
American
Airlines,
Delta
Air Lines,
Southwest Airlines, and

more. These airlines offer flights to many domestic and international
destinations, including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Los

Port Authority's 28X bus service, which provides direct service to downtown
Pittsburgh, as well as other locations throughout the city. There are also
several shuttle services and taxi companies that provide transportation to and
from the airport.
Parking is available at Pittsburgh International Airport in several lots and
garages located near the terminal buildings. Short-term parking is available in
the Hourly Garage, while long-term parking is available in the Extended Lot, the
Long-Term Garage, and the Economy Lot. All parking facilities are connected to
the terminal buildings by a free shuttle service.
