Spokane International Airport
Spokane International Airport (IATA: GEG, ICAO: KGEG, FAA LID: GEG) is a
commercial airport located approximately 5 miles (8 km) west of downtown
Spokane, Washington. It is the primary airport serving the Inland Northwest,
which consists of 30 counties and includes areas such as Spokane and the
Tri-Cities, both in Eastern Washington, and Coeur d'Alene in North Idaho.
The airport is served by a number of major airlines, including
Allegiant
Air, American
Airlines, Delta
Air Lines,
Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines,
which provide non-stop flights to destinations throughout the United States and
Mexico. Additionally, the airport has a number of cargo carriers, including
FedEx Express, UPS Airlines, and DHL Aviation.
Spokane International Airport features a range of facilities and services for
passengers, including restaurants and cafes, shops and stores, a business
center, and free Wi-Fi throughout the terminal. There is also a cell phone
waiting area, short-term and long-term parking, and a car rental center on-site.
Public transportation to and from the airport is available through Spokane
Transit Authority (STA), which offers bus service from the airport to downtown
