Whatcom Falls Park is a 241-acre (0.98 km(sub)2(/sub)) park in Bellingham, Washington. The park has four sets of waterfalls and several miles of well maintained walking trails.

On June 10, 1999, the Olympic Pipeline ruptured in the park near Whatcom Creek, leaking 237,000 US gallons of gasoline into the creek.

The massive amount of fuel was inadvertently ignited and the resulting explosion burned significant forest land within the park. A young man and two boys died as a result of this tragedy.

Whatcom Falls Park is located in Bellingham, Washington. To get there by public transportation, you can take the Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA) bus.

The nearest bus stop to Whatcom Falls Park is the Silver Beach and Lakeway Drive stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to the park entrance. You can take either the WTA Route 15 or 512 to get to the Silver Beach and Lakeway Drive stop.

Alternatively, you can take the WTA Route 232 or 331 to the Whatcom Falls Park Entrance stop. This stop is right at the park entrance.
