Gelephu Airport (IATA: GLU) is a domestic airport located in Gelephu, Sarpang
District, Bhutan. Situated near the southern border with India, it serves as a
strategic hub for enhancing connectivity between Bhutan's central and southern
regions. The airport was inaugurated in 2011 and reopened for regular operations
in 2017 after upgrades.
