Ketchikan International Airport
Ketchikan International Airport (IATA: KTN, ICAO: PAKT, FAA LID: KTN) is a
state-owned, public-use airport located one nautical mile (2 km) west of the
central business district of Ketchikan, a city in Ketchikan Gateway Borough in
the U.S. state of Alaska which has no direct road access to the outside world
nor to the airport.
The airport is owned by the Ketchikan Gateway Borough and serves as a primary
gateway to the Southeast Alaska region, offering both commercial and general
aviation services.
The airport is located on Gravina Island, just west of Ketchikan on the other
side of the Tongass Narrows. Passengers must take a seven-minutes ferry ride
across the water to get to the airport from the town.
Ketchikan International Airport is serviced by several major airlines including

Airlines, Delta
Air Lines and United
Airlines, which provide daily flights to and from Seattle, Juneau, Sitka,
and other regional destinations. There are also several general aviation
operators based at the airport, including floatplane operators who provide
scenic flights and charter services to remote communities in the area.
The airport has a single terminal building which houses a variety of passenger
amenities, including a restaurant, gift shop, and car rental services. Other
facilities at the airport include a large parking lot with both short-term and
long-term options, a taxi and shuttle service, and a dedicated cargo terminal.
The airport is staffed 24 hours a day and offers several services to assist
