To get there by air, the closest airport is the Juneau International Airport (JNU), which is located about 8 miles northwest of the city center. From the airport, visitors can take a taxi, rental car, or shuttle service to the hotel.

Alternatively, visitors can also take the Alaska Marine Highway ferry system, which provides regular service to Juneau from several cities in Alaska, including Ketchikan, Sitka, and Haines. The ferry terminal is located just a few blocks from the Golden North Hotel.
