Mount Adagdak
Mount Adagdak is a Pleistocene age stratovolcano on the northernmost extremity
of Adak Island in the Aleutian Islands, Alaska.
Only about 2000 feet (600 m) above sea level, Mount Adagdak consists of a small
stratovolcano capping an older shield volcano. The date of its last known
eruption is unknown, but a basaltic lava dome was constructed on the southeast
side.
